Miyajin Product ("we") sets out below how information is handled in the iOS app "Mancala" (the "App").

1. Information we collect

  1. Gameplay: your moves and results are processed on your device only. They are not sent to or stored on our servers. The App has no account registration, and never asks you for your name, email address or any other personal information.
  2. Settings: match settings (AI strength, rule, who goes first, and so on) and the number of games played are stored on your device only.
  3. Usage information: we may collect information used to keep the App working and to fix problems.
  4. Advertising identifiers: for advertising purposes, advertising providers may collect the IDFA (advertising identifier) and information about your device and usage.

2. How we use it

Information is used to (a) provide the App's features (playing games, keeping your settings), (b) fix problems and improve quality, and (c) deliver, optimise and measure advertising.

3. Where data is stored

Game settings, the number of games played and similar data are stored on your device. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.

4. Sharing with third parties

  1. Except where required by law, we do not sell or provide the information we collect to third parties.
  2. For advertising, advertising identifiers and similar information may be sent to advertising providers such as Google AdMob. Those providers' own privacy policies apply.

5. Advertising and tracking (ATT)

  1. The App shows advertising through Google AdMob (banner and interstitial ads).
  2. If you allow tracking in the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used to personalise ads. If you do not allow it, you will see non-personalised ads and the App works exactly the same.
  3. Mechanisms such as SKAdNetwork may be used to measure advertising performance.
  4. In the EEA, the UK and other applicable regions, a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) is shown.

6. Third-party services we use

Please refer to each provider's own policy for details (Google advertising policy · Google privacy policy).

7. Retention and deletion

Data held on your device is erased when you delete the App. You can reach us through this contact form.

8. International transfers

Because of the third-party services above, information may be processed outside Japan.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle against loss, damage and unauthorised disclosure.

10. Children's privacy

The App is not primarily directed at children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as needed. We will give notice of significant changes in the App or on this site.

12. Contact

For questions about this policy, please use our contact form.
